I often get these after shooting up. They don't seem too dangerous, but I don't really know what they are. I'd say it's more likely to happen after a shot that had a largeish bit of vitamin C in the mix. The preceding shots usually burn a little while injecting. The bumps are really flat, shallow and consistent in appearance along the general area around the vein in use. They're not small like spots, some blotches can be a square inch in size. There is no redness or any other discolouration, the bumps are as pale as the rest of the skin. They disappear quickly after the shot. Sometimes within a couple of minutes, sometimes a bit longer.
Does this sound familiar to anyone? What are these bumps?
Also, does anyone have any recommendation for a creme or ointment for daily use? Kind of like general vein and skin care, preventive stuff.
