I noticed recently when trying to load a bowl my hands shak, sometimes I’ll even drop what I’m trying to load…is this a symptom of heroin or more so getting off heroin I’m atleast 3 weeks from last use and the shaky hands are starting to worry me

Did you stop drinking too or do you drink? I found when i stopped drinking i got bad tremors for a while.

I don’t drink anymore it’s been a while, I don’t remember exactly when I started using h but prolly close to 8 years by now and that’s pretty much all I did except for occasionally using other drugs but nothing crazy, I have gone through phases, was really into weed then alcohol then psychedelics then finally heroin all of which I would use in excess, I been googling a lot about it and I’m kinda worried it might be Parkinson’s, but I don’t get stiff/slow movement or any problems with balance tho

When you hold a piece of paper on the palms of your outstretched hands (arms held out straight) how much does the paper move? If it's a significant amount and there isn't a clear reason you are going to want to see a physician for a neurological work up.

I just tried this, it’s pretty significant, no matter how much I try to relax and tell my hands to stop shaking I just can’t. I’m gonna try and make an appointment and see what they have to say, really freaking me out now

one think I should mention is when I was around 8-10 my parents took me to a doctor that put me through a trial of meds for ADD(I think maybe antipsychotics too) I don’t know what they were I just took them, and one day they put me on a new med and within hours I started having nervous “ticks” they then diagnosed me with tourrets and at that point stopped all meds, still have some ticks to this day so I know my nervious system is somewhat damaged
