Location
In an igloo made of asbestos and chicken-wire.
Not really sure how I feel about this but here goes nuffin!

And if you asked her she’d tell you
She runs along the shore at night
Tide lapping at her feet
Because that’s when all the world is gone
Enveloped in darkness
Shrouded in shadow
On the good nights
She can’t even see stars
No pinpoint reminders
That existence exists
Just the brace of cold sea
The stillness of the air
The calm hold of nothing
Her blood warming her breast
Sweat bathing invisible skin
And the sound of her breath
To make her feel at home

Running in shadow.

dude, I have loved all your writing and when I check Words it's always in hope that your name appears under one of the thread titles :)

"the calm hold of nothing" is a beautiful line. The solace of that embrace is something I have been seeking out for myself a lot these days. Very nice, raz.<3
