Hey guys, I'm new to the forum. I wanna try drugs harder than pot at some point (specifically LSD, MDMA, DMT and ketamine (but not meth or heroin)), hence why I was attracted to this forum. I also know that due to drug tolerance bluelighters are knowledgeable in the dopaminergic system and other neuroscience stuff.
So basically, I've had a loss of libido, very weak orgasms and premature ejaculation for a few months, with the latter two being present for as long as I can remember. After cumming, I don't go flaccid but retain an erection. Semen volume is low, and on top of this the only way I have got good orgasms is after nutting at least twice beforehand. I know about desensitisation and D2 receptor downregulation, so I took a long break from porn (several months). I've been masturbating for the last three weeks again, but there has been no change. I'm under age 20, so im curious as to why i experience these 'symptoms'.
I wonder whether the problem isn't dopamine receptor density, but dopamine levels. This makes sense, as I have a grandfather with Parkinson's, meaning I am more likely to have supersensitive dopamine receptors but just low levels of dopamine (which I gather is a good set of genetics for somebody wanting to try drugs in the future). I also wonder about testosterone levels, but I do not have much knowledge about it.
If anybody wants even more information, I have mild anhedonia with random episodes of hypomania and consistent anxiety.
Cheers
