Sex Party drug policy

Yep..

Votebelowtheline.org

Democrats also have a similar policy..

both are against censorship also..

Lets get some change happening

I'm also a big fan of the Secular Party. I hope that many of these parties win seats in the senate, it will send a clear message to our duopoly of party politics full of wowsers that it's time to start using common sense and not being influenced by tales and fables (religion) in making legislation.

Absolutely.

In regards to the Sex Party's drug policy - it looks great. Definitely the most progressive I've seen thus far and certinaly the most aimed towards harm minimisation and respect for individual liberties. I hope every self resepecting Buelight member has a read and takes it on board when considering their preferences.

And remember people - vote below the line in the Senate. Check out this site [www.belowtheline.org.au] to make your own INDIVIDUAL how to vote card.

Secular party for me too :) I'm really hoping they get as many votes as they deserve. This country really needs the change...

Secular parties only problem will be how late they have started to get known. I didn't even know they existed until a few weeks ago. Worth voicing up to your mates aswell, I've conviced a few mates and a few bluelighters.

Since I've started voting I've never seen a party that I agree with policies more, and they have the feel that they could actually run the country that I've never felt with sex/pirate or greens party.

The fact that they genuinely read into issues and take a balanced view towards EVERYthing. If I was ever gonna go into politics (which I have considered) the Secular Party is what it would have been.

^I'm yet to hear/see the secular party's drug policy. I couldn't find it in any detail on their website.

I'd love to vote for the greens because I don't want to see my area that I grew up in and around turned into one giant mine like the hunter valley. I just really don't want my vote getting preferrenced to labor..so much for workers party.

Does anyone know the deal with Secular party preferences (if any).

They don't have a drug policy as of yet, but they have said that when they do in will be a harm reduction direction and they believe in self-freedom.

I personally think they only haven't stated a policy because they know they would ridiculed for it. I think they want to get a decent number of supporters before doing something to controversial.

Who cares what the deal is.... Vote below the line to set your own preferences.

Everyone should be educated about voting below the line but 90% of young people I've talked to in real life just have no idea. Pretty sad really. So much labor vs liberal propaganda that everyone's totally distractd for any important information like how to vote and different parties. I have't received one leaflet detailing every possible party and a rundown of their policies.

That's what we should be receiving in the mail.

I think your bang on the money with that.

I only discovered these guys after reading this thread and I'm a pretty politically up to date person. The policies are exactly what I'm after in a politcal party and was amazed that such a thing existed lol. Renewed my faith in the world somewhat.

Yeah educate your friends about voting below the line. That link is really usefull actually and at the end where it gives you a pdf which looks like a ballot paper with all your prefferences marked out for you it really makes it all to easy. No excuse not to! ;D

You can see where all parties preferences go here. It also has a little step by step guide to make your own senate vote card ie so you vote below the line and direct your preferences where YOU want them to go. Highly recommend this to everyone.:)

I have Sex party, secular party, then greens in 1 2 and 3.

Out of the major parties I haven't decided who goes on top yet.

The bottom of the list was also pretty easy. Last place we have family first twats followed by Christian democrats then the citizens electoral council. Seriously take a look at citizens electoral council's policies. Pretty sure they actually want to rape the country and fuck up life as we know it. They appear to represent the absolute worst of rightwing fucked up policies. ie massive population increases (to help big business) retarded harm maximisation drug policies (not for booze of course) etc

Are the sex and secular parties even in many seats? Im guessing many of you wont be able to vote for them unless im mistaken.

Thats right I don't think they are contesting too many lower house seats. Pretty sure they are contesting most of the upper house seats though.
