To give some background, i use opiates occasionally to get high or maybe if im just in pain, nevertheless i am strict not to make a habit of it. Recently though I've noticed when i take a high dose (for me) if i nodd off my arms or legs fall asleep and i get that "pins and needles" feeling so much easier than if i were sober.. it can get so bad, on a couple occasions ive woke up and could NOT move my arms. If one arm was asleep i could pick it up over my head with my other arm and it would just be limp and flop back down..
The feeling always comes back, eventually.

Has anyone else experienced this before?

Sounds like you're having blood flow issues along with some probable histamine release. Drink lots of water and consider starting an aspirin regimen to thin your blood, try not to do that much as prolonged circulatory issues can lead to muscle atrophy and death, and try to keep your BP up a little bit with light physical activity.

Actually my blood pressure does stay on the low side, ive actually passed out standing up too fast a couple times before (not drug related). But I am also an athlete so im not too worried. Thanks for your answer!
