I think that's called "showing mercy". I know they get told to watch out for jakey fuckers - maybe they think if they let one away with it they'll have a swarm of zombie cwe eaters descend on the pharmacy.

That is the logical solution, but I wonder if Drs will hesitate prescribing the meds separately to patients with any sort of 'dirty records.'

I'd speculate it might happen in a few rare cases, but overall Drs in my experience seem too overworked and stretched for time, to have time to go through people's records.

I've had phone and in person appointments where they've not been aware of certain things, when I started talking about things that are in my records.

Twice now after being discharged from hospital with moderately painful conditions, my local GPs have not hesitated for a second to dish out 100 x 30mg co-codamols.

And I only asked for a few days worth, the most recent time too.

Due to having no tolerance, I got a definite buzz off my first 60mg, but I was unable to recapture that again. Despite adding more pure codeine and DHC in further attempts to try to do so.

Dirt cheap

Boots generic version of Nurofen plus 32x 12.8/200mg cost me over a tenner

I know it was a bit more codeine but wasn’t as cheap overall as that

I’ve just always hated doing a CWE with paracetamol

Avoided making 'friends' with a ham and egging junky just now.

I was right near the cash machine too. It would've been too easy unless the guy wanted to rob me, which is obviously a danger, and he wasn't a regular beggar at that location. I don't carry much cash, but had about a quid, so I handed it over. Hope he scores alright.

Last time I was at doctors it was a paramedic and he prescribed me 100 x15mg codine for stomach issues,he said ill give you a little more than you need as they come in handy if you hit your thumb with a Hammer lol.(I'm a tradesman) really cool guy but I'm never at the doctors so I've no red flags I guess

I notice alot of chemists reach straight for the aspirin like Co codamol, the stuff that fizzis and disolves, I'm unaware of anyway to seperate that type but I'm sure there is.
You still get the tablets but you might get a raised eybrow for asking for them.
I was never any good at chemistry so I've given up completely on cwe although I know it is a simple process

Solpadeine has killed a lot of people who weren't aware of the dangers of the paracetamol content and got addicted to the codeine.

Their livers slowly gave up.

Tbh I gave up on cwe long ago ,I know I'm removing all the paracetamol or enough to be negligible but it just makes me nauseous

why do some brands only contain 8mg and others 12.8 ,I know there's a limit but why not make them all the same
