Location
Somewhere between Eden and North Utopia. Somewhere
These scars on my arm
My defense from the severe harm
That this world wrecked upon me
You haven't killed me just yet
Just for trying you will regreat
I'm not one to give in so easily
Dare to make me disappear
My only attack is defiance

I'm going to shoot drugs
I'm going to fuck whores
I'm going to pack guns
I'm gonna piss on your floor
You can make sure that I ain't dying
But I can make sure that you are trying

At seventeen you let me live
At eighteen you tried to due me harm
Poison in my head
Made me take that knife to my arm
I'm all dryed up
I'm all fucked up
But I'm still here and you better believe
I'm your worst fucking fear

I'm going to spit on the police
I'm going to steal from my fellow man
I won't ever pay this fucking lease
I'm going to start a fight, right here, right now....man
Keep on trying
I'm gonna make sure that this world is dying

These scars on my arm
Skin torn through
These scars on my arm
Remind my hatred for you

This world is dead to me
This world is dead to me
You won't take me
You won't take me
Without a fight

interesting, I like it. Although I cant figure out if the scars are track marks or cut marks. Anyways it works better for me as 'track marks'.

These scars on my arm
My defense from the severe harm
That this world wrecked upon me
You haven't killed me just yet
Just for trying you will regreat
I'm not one to give in so easily
Dare to make me disappear
My only attack is defiance

Good stuff...

interesting how we each see the world from our past and the glimmer of our future, well written with alot of passion to it.... behind the anger. Great stuff!

at first i thought that this was shite.
i know a couple of kids at school who write poetry that nearly always includes self harm references, and i find it to be ectremely attention seeking bullshit
but as i read on, it found a real good rhythm, and a non-pretentious tone, which is no easy thing when dealing wiht these kinds of subjects
just to clarify, i know that your subject isn't self-harm, i just read the first lines and thought...oh no - it explains itself later on, its good
