Opioids Set For Surgery Friday, Will My Roxicety Use Matter?

I posted on here a while ago about a surgery I was having but they kept denying it and postponing it, so I continued to use roxicet (30 mg and NEVER exceeded the dose) and I've been doing them every day. I do them to deal with the pain (I have had ongoing stomach problems for a few years and am having a stomach surgery reversed). The thing is, people keep telling me my dose isn't that high and I have not taken more than 30 mg, but I have been doing them every day. I did not tell the surgeon about this use because it kept getting postponed and denied so much that I don't want anything to screw this up. My only problems is I'm very nervous about it interacting with anesthesia but is this stupid? I plan on not doing any after Wednesday.

Tell your doctors. They should know in order to serve you better. You'll be fine. The worst you'll get is an obnoxious NA pamphlet.

And if I didn't? Just supposing I didn't tell them, would something interact? That's all I want to know.

I'm not a doctor, never even played one on TV. I'm a nursing school drop out on a harm reduction forum...I'd think you would be ok for anesthesia but that their might be issues with your post-op pain management that the team should be aware of. You know who would know if it was a good idea to tell or not? Your doctor.
