Misc Sertraline help

Hi BL community!

I have some sertraline (zoloft) 50mg tabs. I've heard these can have some ok euphoric effects for a first time user.
Is this really true?
I'm planning on taking 100mg and waiting for the effects to kick in. Which I was told is about 3-6 hours.

What I was told is I would get some pretty sweet CEV's and maybe very very mild OEV's.
Increased music appreciation and warmth spread through out the body like a wave and of cause general happiness etc.

ALSO

I was told taking a single 30mg tab of pseudoephedrine (sudafed) would also increase these effects.

I was also told the zoloft would cause nauseous feelings and maybe vomiting if I take more than 100mg.

What do you guys think? Dangerous or what?
I've never taken either medicine if that changes dosage.

Planning on having a chill night ;D
Any advice appreciated muchly.

Ok then thank you captain!

I'm happy I didn't disappoint myself with pointless pills and on the other hand disappointed that what my friends told me wasn't true.

I got myself all worked up for tonight for no reason :l

sry man that must suck being all pumped and then finding out nothing will happen. if it was me i would be pissed. ;x
 
As far as I am aware, the effects you are talking about, might occur at much higher dosages. But at that level, it would be dangerous, and almost assuredly be an extremely unpleasant comedown.

At least now you don't have to suffer through a lot of stomach aching! :)
 
Ah well shit happens right ;) I'll go buy some bud tomorrow.

Captain I did an erowid search and some of the results in the experiences section did describe what I was told nearly exactly :S and at the dose I was told as well.
I'm once again tempted to take them.

But yes I'm sure your experience out shines any erowid poster :)
So I'm holding off.

Well I have taken sertraline before, and I never got good effects like you describe. I took up to 100mg per day, and had a monumental withdrawal at the end of it.

Coming off of sertraline (used daily for a long time, not just for short periods of time) is hell. I can't describe it well, other than brain zaps and the worst depression I have ever endured. I would rather go through heroin withdrawal again, and again, and again... than ever have to go through sertraline withdrawal again.

If you get a good bag of bud tomorrow, I would just smoke weed IMO. That's my 2 cents. I get way more visuals from weed than I ever did from sertraline.
