So I was just perscribed a very low dose of seroquil to help of with my sleep and sleep related anxiety. I was on ambien for a while but I didn't like how I couldn't remember shit after taking it, ended up in some bad situations because of that. I loved the chill high it sort of gave off, but I wanted to try something new.

I was aiming for alpzopam or klonopin but my doc said I should try this first, anyone have experiences with this drug? It seems like a decent alternative to benzos, and I do t want to tell her "NO I WANT ZANNIES" like some drug craving ass so I'm willing to give it a try. Should I not eat before I take it to get the best effects, and I heard blowing it works as well? I know 25mg is very low, she said I should up the dose over time but I'm considering just railing 50mg to get a feel for how it is.

just eat 25mg for sleep. half that or anxiety. its totally strong stuff.
there is no high, nor any point to snorting seroquel. its an anti psychotic.

I take seroquel to sleep sometimes (usually a 100mg for me lol) but, 25mg is usually enough to help most people sleep under most conditions. Its quite strong and very effective.

No point snorting it, it is not euphoriant, and I don't believe it has a radically higher nasal bio-availability then it does orally anyways.

Best to stay away from anti-psychotics, they are zombifying. 25 mg Seroquel will help with sleep but not like a benzo or z-drug would. As the dose gets higher the "worse" it feels on the body, chemical grogginess, without anxiety, yes, but with little of any feeling. Expect weight gain as well. If your sleep is that bad go for a benzo or z-drug. How did Ambien work for sleep? Might I recommend Restoril (temazepam) should the doctor be willing. Another decent choice is Ativan (lorazepam). I'd stay away from Xanax for sleep, Klonipin (clonazepam) is decent though.
