Seroquel questions

seroquel is a neuroleptic antipsychotic with a specific purpose. Can't help but feel people are treating it a little lightly.

esp with reference to 100-400mg tabs at their disposal. I was on them for a short while and 50mg would put me out without fail (75max) - and i'm not small or shy... my mouth would be so dry i almost had to wake from my coma (which is next to impossible) to drink fluids that in no way quenched my thirst. Next day feel like a dry mouthed piece of crap.

I'd say go for some benzos because they aren't as hardcore (short term) on neural biochemistry - but that would be TERRIBLE ADVISE because unlike seroquel, benzos are habit forming.

if u got 400mg tabs then they obviously came from someone with some reasonably hefty issues. So my advice is either give them back them :), throw them away, or use them lightly at 25-50mg dose max without combining with other drugs.... hard to break pills into 16ths isn't tho
 
sure, some people abuse air duster and gasoline but that doesn't make them euphoriant drugs

From what I've heard, they can actually be quite fun. Like gaseous alcohol with hallucinations thrown in.

i dont use it to get high like on weekends and shit i take it when i go to sleep and wake up feeling nice.
 
anti-psychotics as recreational drugs...... hahahahahahahahaha D000D you should snort some prozac or paxil it will get you hella high8)
 
2 question's 1 is it true then that xanax potentiates seroquel?

2nd, prozac snorting can you or not?
 
do not snort prozac lol he was kidding. dont wanna be taking prozac unless you really need to.
 
While seroquel can be helpful it's a horrible drug to use daily.

Cyproheptadine can be a better choice in many cases and it's usually far cheaper.
 
i dont pay for seroquel my sister has a prescription but doesn't need it so she doesnt take it and gives it to me shes got bottles of 100's 200's and 400's so i dont need cyproheptadine

if you seriously wake up on anti psychotics feeling "nice" you might have some fundamental issues to deal with, and are most likely schizophrenic or bipolar to begin with 8)

LISTEN: Nobody in the fucking world who is in their right mind wakes up after a dose of 200mgs seroquel and thinks "Hey, i feel good today"... But you obviously seem to enjoy this. I urge you to see professional help. No joke buddy.
 
I don't abuse Seroquel. I'm scripted 100mgs before bed to help me sleep. I do like the warm and safe feeling it gives me and others may find a sense of well being from it too. I don't get high persay from it, but I do enjoy the effects very much. They are shortlived because I fall asleep with 30 minutes of taking it.

One thing I have noticed, I started out at 25mgs and now am at 100mgs. Tolerance DOES play a role in longterm usage.
 
Fuck any antipsychotics, they all eventually give you TD and if you're RX'd antipsychotics chances are you'll be on them for life. You might as well just cut out your forntal lobe now cause that'll be the same as taking AP's.
 
According to erowid, olanzapine (which is also an anti-psychotic) can produce euphoria--and thus, could be recreational. Seroquel is also a commonly abused drug in prisons if I remember correctly. However, prisoners have also been reported to abuse wellbutrin, so I guess that doesn't say much.

Granted, Seroquel is not the most ideal drug for recreational use. But if you like it, then go right ahead. Just be careful of the long-term side effects already mentioned in this thread.
