Misc seroquel ok to take during GBL withdrawal

so today i ran out of gbl, im extremely sleep deprived from a weekend on stims so thats making it worse, ive had 200ml vodka to try and ease the withdrawals, and i do feel better but i know in 3 hours or so they will just return, i have some seroquel is that ok to take whilst withdrawing from a gaba drug? hopefully it will just make me passout for hours, ive only used it twice before and have 50mg pills which worked very well.

Just wondering if its ok to take, as i found in the past i did get some odd side effects on seroquel and they dont feel that nice, although they are a good sleep aid.

I can't see any reason why it wouldn't be ok.

what i ment was, does it do anything to the seizure threshold or blood pressure? as im shaking like crazy and my heart is thumping like mad, worrying :( just had low dose to see if it sedates me enough.
 
well it has pretty mixed action, but most importantly it is a strong dopamine antagonist, which is bonus bucks in yr situation, as GBL withdrawal results in hyperexcited neurons and a flood of dopamine, as GABAergics function primarily as inhibitors via the agonist effects at the GABA sites. (GHB also hits the "GHB" receptor, as an agonist). I have used Seroquel whilst undergoing GBL withdrawal to good effect. It allowed me to get a little sleep but I did feel quite psychotic and lifeless. (and odd pairing, i know):D Depending on where you are you can often find phenibut OTC, which is a godsend while in GBL withdrawal. Or better yet, baclofen. You can be back to "normal" in a couple days, almost painlessly. Good luck.
 
had a 50mg xr last night helped a bit but still no sleep,hallucinating now from sleep dep so just had another, i need sleep :(
 
I hope I'm not being irresponsible by saying you might be better off taking 100-200mg to get some sleep.
 
the second one got me maybe 2 hours sleep, stopped the worst of the sleep dep, but still feel fucking awful, its been over 24 hours now since last dose so i think im past the worst of it.
 
You're doing great man, keep it up and good luck you should be getting better soon.
