Seroquel + Caffeine

I dont think thats a good idea. My doctor just gave me this garbage. The last time I took this stuff was a year ago and I was trying to comedown off a TERRIBLE speed/piper e pill combo. It was a 100mg pill and I bite A TINY chunk off and was out in 20 minutes. Note that this was at 4am and I barely got out of bed at 2pm the next day. Personally I dont know why doctors give this to people.To me its like the darvocet of sleeping pills. Im pretty sure if you took it with any opiate or benzos with no tolerance you wouldnt be waking up. Then again my old friend seemed like these were nothing, as he would eat 3 of those 200mg(I dont know the strength these come in, it was 2nd from highest you could go)? pills at a time and stay up as long as he could which would usually be 2 hours and then he would be out. I know people that have drank on them and its the reason they quit drinking.
 
on some days, i break my 300 mg into thirds, then from that third i break a chunk off,
so like 30-60 mg, and I take that in the morning or noonish,
and I'd also take a guarana pill (with 200 mg caffeine), and drink plenty of soda.

but that 30mg in the day is way less than the seroquel my body is used to at night

you could try it, but you may experience tachycardia from the seroquel (I have many times, at night), so be warned,
im not sure if this happens to most, but if I take my 300mg and I dont fall asleep, and get up, then my heart seems like it went for a two mile jog.

but also, i just quit all Smoking recently and that hasnt happened since
 
I'm here to say. Well atleast for my body.200mg of caffeine isn't enough to over power the effects of seroquel. It was if I never even took the caffeine pill. But I am up a few hours later.? :/
 
Yeah, as the caffeine and seroquel are metabolized at different rates, you could quite possibly see huge shifts from being extremely tired to extremely alert over the course of the day. Generally it's just a bad idea to combine drugs that have exact opposite effects.
 
Considering 100mg of seroquel knocked me out for 8 hours while I was high on about 35mg of meth, I'd say not even a fatal amount of caffeine would stop a theraputic dose of seroquel from knocking you out, but that's just me.
 
Probably trying to fight the extreme sedation. (Impossible)

I used to try and stay awake on 150-200mg and woke up with my game on pause and the controller in my lap. I honestly do not remember going out.
