Seroquel and sex drive

Hello Bluelight,
I've been prescribed seroquel for sleep and to act as a mild mood stabilizer while my doctor works on finding new meds for me (he's still working on a diagnoses; I've been diagnosed with major depression and anxiety but he seems to think I may be bipolar 2) and since using 50-100 mg seroquel at night for the past week and a half I have noticed my sex drive decrease dramatically. I was curious if anyone else taking this medication has noticed similar effects.
Thanks for your help, and if this isn't the right location for such topic, I apologize.

i have much the same diagnosis - anxiety, depression, bipolar 2.
seroquel did nothing for me apart from putting me to sleep.
i was on it for almost a year 25-75mg at night and didnt notice any sex drive issues.
it has pretty horrible long term side effects and doctors seem to hand it out like candy
for pretty much any psychological issues in my opinion.

id stay away from anti depressents (unless combined with a mood stabiliser) if you are possibly
bipolar. mania sucks.

I have been on at least 50 different psychiatric medication. I am Bipolar NOS and ADHD primarily inattentive (AKA ADD). I have not take quetiapine (Seroquel) for any extended period to tell you specific experiences about it.

However, I have had sexual side effects from other psych meds and my psychiatrist says " Pretty much every psych med has the possiblity of sexual side effects. You are messing with brain chemistry"

Hope this helps.
