Taking the seroquel as prescribed for psychiatric disorders, would it be okay to still smoke weed? I ask this because I'm going to be getting a prescription for Seroquel because of various instabilities in my mind, however I have to smoke weed to ease the pain of my medical conditions as opiate/NSAID painkillers have no effect on me.

Would this be counter-productive and cause the seroquel to not work?

I smoke bud too for medical conditions (Illegaly. I hate my state) for spinal fusion and 15" metal bars and 6 bolts in my spine :/. Seroquel blocks dopamine receptors in your brain, so you won't feel the high very well. It might still kill the pain though. I don't think the weed will cancel out the Seroquel, but i'm sure it'll cancel out the high. Someone correct me if i'm wrong.
