seroqel

A friend of mine got diabetes from taking seroquel. In Japan they make the drug company put that warning on the product. He is not overweight, or anything either.

The discussion here got a bit off topic, but in case you may have missed it, one person did actually more or less answer your question, before the discussion shifted to the ethics of Seroquel. I requoted it here for you:

seroquel won't effect a dxm high if the dose of seroquel is at last 12 hours prior. if you're dosing both in the same time table, the seroquel will overpower the dxm and you'll go to sleep.

400mg of seroquel does seem like quite a lot. I was prescribed 100mg for schizophrenia (although have since switched meds).

Hopefully that'll help you. It was pretty much what I was trying to say with my first reply the other day, that taking anything while on Seroquel is probably not the best idea. Just food for thought. PpEeAaCcEe.

I am a male that weighs 135. i take seroquel for for bipolar i take 400mg a day is this a normal dose for someone my weight? and what are interactions with dxm?

I weigh about 112 male, i take 200mlg of seroquel as a sleep aid. If this helps at all. Dunno about its effects with DXM as I haven't taken it since I OD'd on it.

thats because trazodone in higher doses works as an SSRI lol. In low doses it works as a sedative. 300MG is a relatively high dose of trazodone.

trazodone is actually metabolized into mCPP, a 5-HT releasing agent and agonist. the higher the dose, the more mCPP(not a nice drug) is made.
