Seriously need advice- might loose job they found my stuff but cant prove it is me

What does the employee handbook say?

If any of our guys get caught using on the job, we call the police immediately, and they are terminated.

Do you have cameras outside the restroom door? If so, uh oh.

But man, use your head next time. No, they can't prove it, but what if you were in the public area, left your stash and some kid got it? You'd be in hella hot water.
 
Firstly, they don't need evidence, they can fire you just because they think it might be you, or because they don't like you or whatever (in America anyways). Secondly, drug tests cost a lot of money so I imagine they would be hesitant to test everyone at the drop of a hat but it depends on how your owner/manager/boss views substance use. If he's a boss like me than he'll be pissed that you brought it to work but won't care that you happen to do it in your own time. That being said, if you do get suspected and caught, under no circumstances should you admit that that sack was yours. Even if they're super cool like "we just want to get it back to who it belongs to" (unlikely), DO NOT tell anyone that it was yours. If they find out you use, say "what I do in my free time is my business, if you have a problem with that than we have a problem". Then go find another job.

This is most likely what saved me, I didnt tell anyone at all even my "friends" I didnt act differently or anything just went about my business. My guess is without proof they didnt want to harass me especially since they know i went on a program and as far as they know got clean. I went on the program 2 years before the incident and got off subs and was clean for a year so I think they were hesitant to harass me because i could take a lot of offence to being accused of something i quit 2 years in the past. Let us know how it went OP.
 
They know it's you and don't care. But as soon as something goes missing or whatever, guess who they'll suspect.

I am in the way of thinking if no one actually see you doing it, then they can't prove anything. But all the same I would be careful because if anything like cash or stuff goes missing from your workplace, you would more than likely be the first one they would blame
 
You're a server at a restaurant; they probably don't give a fuck as long as you aren't thwacked out enough to tell by the customers. Servers are notorious for getting fucked up on any and everything they can get their hands on. They're probably pissed you left your shit in there, but even if they have cameras on the bathroom, who's to say you didn't see it and didn't want to rat. Besides, if they UA'd everyone, they'd have to fire a lot more than just you, lmao.
