Serious: Do heroin users ever shit?

I never had enough of a problem where I needed an enema. Typically I'd go after three or four days. It always happened in the morning when I had not taken any opiates in 10 or so hours.

Other than that, people summed it up well. Eating more fiber, an enema, or a soft laxative all work.

i don't do heroin, but i have been an every day user of pst for a year and a half (3 months ago was the end of my last real binge) and my body just got used to it. i rarely ever had a problem going to the bathroom and i got high as fuck every day. only twice have i ever been seriously constipated, once when i had zero experience and was popping darvons like mad, another when i was bingeing on pods, but i never resorted to 'digging it out'... yeesh. but it is like forcing a pinecone through a hole in a brick, as i hard someone say once here on BL.
 
I eat a huge bowl of oat meal with a large glass of milk when I wake up and it helps me shit. I do this before I go the clinic so I dont puke up that nasty methadone yuck
 
usually right before i get high for the day, cuz my body is trained by now, or in the morning before i go score... if i have some for a few days all set aside though, forget about it, i dont even bother... usually i cant piss either until i've drank so much its pushing itself out, hahaha
 
Iam on 150mgs of Methadone a day, and before that i was taking LOTS of Oxycodone and Hydrocodone and Fentanyl.................. I was having trouble shitting on the Oxy ALONE!!!!!

Now Iam on the Methadone and Ive been on it a few months so now I can shit alone, more regularly than I used too.

If you have trouble use laxatives/ Stool Softeners.............. They have halped me ALOT in the past ;) Be Safe.

I don't think anyone means they are literally sticking their hand or fingers up their ass and digging shit out.
What they mean is when you have opiate constipation feces are dry and hard and even getting them to move a few centimeters takes a lot of straining, so it helps if you can grab the uh "turtlehead" sometimes and just pull it out.

Did anyone see that episode of the reality show with Bobby Brown where he and Witney are fondly remembering the time he had to manually disempact her? LOL.

Ive felt like that before, but I'd never 'Go in there' and start digging shit out of my ass by hand. Thats what they do to Quadripeligics (sp?)
 
Everyday or every other day a Quadripeligic has to have a nurse come over and have the nurse DIG there finger in their ass and move it around to 'Stimulate' the bowel to start moving, than they DIG the shit out by hand.

It makes me realise how lucky I actually am, when I read about disabled peoples lives.

Yeah.... They make $25- $30 an hour though, which is GREAT money, BUT they have to dig peoples asses to earn it. Those are people who are out there doing God's work with a smile everyday, they are saints!!!!

Some of them make jokes and stuff to make the patient feel more comfortable, They really are saints............ What would the world do without people like that?

$37 - $43 an hour in So. CA and the aids do that kind of work. Call it earning their stripes. ;)
 
just try to expel your bowels when you're on a steady regimen of OC's..
I eat fiber.. lots of fruits & veggies.. and poop every other day.. maybe not even that often..

wish I may.. wish i might.. hope that i poop tonight
 
i would dose my opiate in the evening, and the next day before dosing i would take a crap. yeah, it is kida hard, but once a cycle has established it's quite bearable.

But if i skip taking a dump for like 3 days... oh my 8( by the time it's coming out i wish i never started in the first place.

also, stool softeners (Docusate) helps a lot i guess...
