seratonin syndrome question

I have been prescribed both remeron and tramadol at the same time my doctor informed me there is a risk of seratonin syndrome by mixing the two. I like to take the remeron every night as it works great for an anti depressant and helps me sleep a lot better to. So has anyone here ever had seratonin syndrome? What does it feel like? And how did you get it? I took 450 mg tramadol and am about to pop my usual dose of 30mg remeron. Ive mixed the two before with no adverse reactions but never at this high of a dose. Any info would be appreciatedn

Effexor gave me SS back in 2002. Of course, it also made me suicidal, and cut myself. Horrible AD.

SS made my head feel weird, brain zaps, mood swings, eye like saucers, etc, 180 pulse. I almost had a nervous breakdown from it.
