Ever since the idea popped into my head, i've really wanted to roll in a sensory deprivation tank. I can't even imagine the idea of having my senses that jacked up with NOTHING to grab onto. It would also give me the best objective view of the effects, especially with a few hours beforehand to get a control subject of my own brain. Just sitting there listening to your own thoughts, and then... SOMETHING happens to them...

Thoughts?

The thought of NOT being able to move while rolling would totally kill any and all effects the tank might have for me.

Now things like lsd, shrooms, dmt, etc. I could see being better in a tank...

Arrrghh this sounds like a nightmare to me :0 - not the deprevation but not being able to move around. Have you never been coming down at home alone in a dark room? Its amazing the journey you can take inside your own mind :)

think i would just get ridiculously bored without even being able to listen to music or chat shit to people. would be a bit of a waste.

maybe thats cos not enough goes on inside my head- i don't like the idea of no stimulation even when i'm sober for pretty much the same reason, i try to distract myself as much as possible from what little does go on in there!

^ this.

Because MDMA is such a wonderful sensory enhancer, I think depriving yourself of your senses would make for a less enjoyable experience.

I wouldn't even want do MDMA alone in the comfort of my room, let alone a sensory deprecation chamber. For me MDMA is primarily a social experience, so yeah... =D

MDMA alone isnt that bad as long as you're willing to take an introspective look.

It also helps if you have someone online or through texts you can talk to while you're rolling for those times when you need to talk to someone.

I still have to move around though. Sometimes I go walk around outside, sometimes I just pace in my house back and forth for an hour or two while listening to some music.
