As an effort to help determine the exact focus of a year-long project that will become the culmination my senior year,I was wondering if anyone could give me any, or lead me to any, insights or essays, or even just what you may 'think', whether it be due to heresay or just something you think you may have heard, concerning a monoamineoxidase inhibitor in conjunction with several other chemicals or entheogenic plants. I would like to know if any one is aware of any potential dangers or interactions between any combinations of these substances: syrian rue and its alkaloids (the MAOi in question), psilocybin mushrooms (I've read certain scientific pieces studying this, as well as trip reports, but no direct analysis to its danger when used in conjunction with the MAOi), opiods/opiates (namely codeine and morphine (and I think a third, lesser known chemical), in the form of either opium latex, poppy tea, or a simple extraction), and lastly, the toadstool Amanita muscaria var. muscaria (Fly Agaric). In addition, I would also greatly appreciate any information or references to noteworthy sites or books concerning the use of cannabis (smoked or oral) and its interactions/reactions when added into this mix, in any combination. I apologize that this has been so long and demanding, but if anyone can answer any of these inquiries, or simply point me in the direction to find the answers, I would greatly appreciate the help! If I recieve any replies aiding me in my search, I will include the poster's information in the bibliography I will be compiling throughout this project.
