Hi
I am not new to bluelight, but still green around the edges. And to get this out of the way: I did use drugs to get high back in 2010, but haven't since then, so I am no angel. But now I am in trouble

I lost my job and access to insurance. (for those of you who judge: I went to a good college and had a good job, the bad economy did me in.)

I take 2 meds that I have scripts for, first is Ambien and the second is Gabitril - for seizures. I need them both because one doesn't work without the other. I have a job that pays sightly above min wage and the insurance they offer is a joke. No Rx coverage.

I can't afford my meds in the US.

[SNIP]

Every day seems like another fight over paperwork bills, etc. It's hard to keep going. If I could catch a break and get enough cheap meds for a few months, i could tackle other problems. I swore I would bounce back from this, but now I feel like I am going down for the count. I added the gun icon to my post because I am starting to feel like I have a gun to my head.)

Hello purpleglitter,

I'm sorry but legal discussion is not allowed on BL. A google search will answer your questions.

Hi there purpleglitter welcome back to Bluelight. :)

I had to edit a large part of your post because it was against the BLUA and a lot of your questions because it could have been taken seriously (warnings etc) but I know you didn't have these kinds of intentions, you just wanted advice when you made this thread. Since you got a lot of stuff going on I want to keep this open, hopefully some other people can give their advice as well.

First all good on you for not abusing drugs since 2010. That is some pretty stellar work. I've gone a year here six months there but four years, good work. Also don't go over the border to get your meds. You shouldn't have to resort to that and its not work the risk. Is there any chance of getting a better paying job? Or another job on the side? There are ways of saving money you just have to make a big list to try and sort it out and see what you can do with your time, write up a large timetable with your calender open for the week and see what you can do with yourself.

Life isn't all that bad. Just keep your chin up everything is gonna be alright. You gotta take a deep breath and not let these kinds of things stress you out. An analytic approach is really going to help you out in times like this. Feel free to give me a PM if you need to vent or something. Just make that list aye? :)
