Haha no this woman is my age. I grew up with her, and we were friends until I realised she is a narcissist and I cut all ties.
 
METH is good for weight loss, but if someone does too much they get all spun, tweaked out, and paranoid.

I know a dude that weighed 300lbs and he used METH to lose the weight to get down to 180lbs way too fast-when I heard this I knew it was METH or he was sick with HIV/AIDS or cancer- but he claimed he lost the weight from Adderall. Yes you may lose 5 or maybe 10lbs from Adderall/Dexedrine but it is slow and not all at once or more weight than this.

Anyway...The next thing he knew he was addicted, thinking people were going to rob him, steal his drugs-he was dealing out of his home and work, that his wife was going to kill him if he slept, and neighbours complained when he started doing construction and lawn work when they were trying to sleep at 3AM.

Amphetamine is prescribed for weight loss and a much better way to go for many important reasons. I would rephrase:
Amphetamine is good for weight loss, METH is not so good because tweak tweak tweak etc. but that’s just CD

Ok this guy was prescribed amphetamine for ADD which he does not have but he basically doctor shops and is bipolar and not on medications for the mania, depression, etc.

If you are not eating right, using METH, not sleeping, picking your skin, not staying hydrated with water, or not bathing daily your face will break out or burn.

If you snort drugs, like METH, it will burn.

I have a friend that used to use meth. I actually helped him get ahold of a brick of paste. At first he said the same thing, but he kept at it and a couple months later he says he much prefers the paste. So it just takes a bit of time to adapt. I mean it should be obvious that it isnt going to be as satisfying, all the problems with meth stem from it being too satisfying. When theraputic use is the discussion, the indicators should be ability to function in society, I would say.

I think if I could get quality Australian street speed (which I’ve always believed was amphetamine sulfate) again I might eventually use it to replace my recreational use of meth. But dexamphetamine doesn’t hold much recreational value.
 
Yeah true that. This might sound kind of weird but for my early teen years I wanted to try meth really bad. I was always looking for meth, and I wasnt in a city so I couldnt just walk downtown. The reason was because I tried Ecstasy and loved it and then tried mdma and thought it was just okay. I thought the missing link was meth ( and it probably was). Inbetween this time and when I eventually found my way down into the meth underworld at 18, if you asked me what my favorite drug was, I would have said dexedrine. See while I couldn't find meth I had a friend down the street who stole her moms dexedrine, so we would do it and stay up all the time. Parachuting 15mg put me in heaven when I was 15.

Is there any chance the 'ecstasy' you took was MDMA + METH? Or that it was MDA-if that was really still around or sold when you were a teen? I would have used METH as a teen had it been available in my area; but there were lots of busts in the early 1980s and late 1980s and other drugs were more easily available and popular.

I am sure there was METH but besides a much older friend, people who were teens or young adults who I knew who had bought and taken what they and their dealers said was METH, all said how it was basically exactly like Dexedrine/Adderall, so I guess they got regular Amphetamine sulphate instead of METH? The older friend who took METH in the late 1980s said how it burned his nose and was like snorting ammonia, and he stayed up for about three days from a few lines of it from a small bag, as he was redosing and using it like he would use cocaine. Also I had no desire to go to dangerous and sketchy areas of the large city I grew up in to get METH or hard drugs. One guy in my class who went there I guess to get coke one weekend, some runner came up to his car and said, "Hey whiteboy give me the $$$ I'll have it for you in 10 minutes." He gave him the money, and the guy just went into the drug house, or projects and never came out. So the guy in my class goes to the drug house and causes a huge scene asking for his money back or the coke. Some large men came out and beat him very badly with a metal baseball bat. He was very lucky he did not get killed but he eventually died from a drug overdose. Rest in peace.

As soon as I learned that the Ancient Aztecs and Mayan people would eat mushrooms-I read this in a book when I was very, very young-I had wanted to take them and I did at 18.

I don't know if this is the case in America. But in Australia in the 80s and 90s the only amphetamine available was called speed/goey and it came as a fine white powder (never as rocks or crystals). I used to inject this and the principal effects were a rush that began at the bottom of your spine and shot fireworks out the top of your head, a strong chemical taste in your mouth, superhuman energy, chewing your tongue off, and talking a million words a minute for up to 24 hours. I have always believed this was amphetamine sulfate. It definitely did not have the pro-sexual effects of meth.

When Americans talk about how great meth was back in the 80s and 90s they describe a similar experience to the one above. It sounds just like Aussie speed which was definitely made from pseudo.

This leads me to think that either (a) Americans are confused about what they were consuming in the 80s and 90s and it was not methamphetamine but amphetamine, OR, (b) I am wrong about it being amp sulfate and that what we were consuming in Australia at that time was actually 'real pseudo meth' and what we think is meth today is something different.
 
haha fuck reading this reminds me of how awesome stimulants are. I am so exhausted and have no energy and got so much shit to write up for chemistry so ima start using again but I will limit myself to only when i really need it to get through this shocking amount of work. hoping tomorrow ill write at least 3000-4000 words for my lit review.

I fucking miss amphetamine the most but i only got ritalin atm. Pure vvyanse is the mother fucking best pharma i ever taken. They need to fund that shit asap in the down under hemisphere ritalin is fucking trash compared to it.

Just wait until @acklac7 releases the information on the new generation of genetically engineered sup-amphetamines. You will be able to finish a 3 year degree in a year maximum and control your erections and orgasms entirely with your enhanced consciousness.

my post grad research is pretty boring tbh i think ill have to find a way to get cheap ritalin again to write a future thesis.

Fuck I still cringe on my stimulant days i really did get up to some tweaker shit haha. Plus the nights where i would consume 20+ standards and still pass out on them. On crazy parties though i saw some old videos from 5 years ago and cringe looking back. One night i finished 1/4 bottle of malibu 1/2 bottle of 151 must of been like 30 + standards somehow did not die but a photo of me lying fully comatose in a gutter legit zombie dead. Infact stimulants kept me alive in the short regaining of consciousness taking more speed kept me alive.
 
nope its anxiety inducing a shit stimulant tbh gives me pins and needles if taking 54 mg concertas be awake for over 28 hours. But somehow i was so addicted to it. Lead to really bad depression and robbed me of my best years that could of been. Sadly that is the sorry of my life with substance abuse i always make the same mistakes and losing what could of been so many great things. But i need the fucking extra energy at this point if things get to addictive i always have mushrooms to fall back on and LSD to reset my brain.
