Alright, so I have a question I've been extremely curious about and haven't been able to find any information on...
To start off with some background information... I've had experiences with LSD, shrooms, and ecstasy without any major issues and have had a wonderful time on all of them the times I've taken them. The first time I almost had a seizure while on 2 hits of acid at a concert, but that seemed to be induced by the strobe lights and all I did was kinda twitch and shake while standing up and never fell over. But recently in October I tried 2C-B for the first time at a rave and ended up having a grand mal seizure. Next thing I remember I was waking up in the ambulance on the way to the hospital after my friend called 911. Yet in November on my birthday, my boyfriend and I took 3 hits each, and right when I started peaking I had a grand mal, but didn't go to the hospital. I've taken that same dosage before earlier that year with no issues, it was one of the best trips I ever had... I don't know what happened. I've never had any seizures in my life until now. I went to the doctor, got an EEG done and all the tests, and I was diagnosed with epilepsy in December and now am taking medication for it and am laying off the drugs, besides marijuana haha, for a while if not all together of course.
Regardless of all of this, there's something that sparked my curiosity. After regaining consciousness on the seizure on my birthday, I wasn't tripping anymore. I was sort of at the state after I've come down from a trip and everything seems off still but I'm definitely not tripping anymore, if that makes sense. Yet I seized right when I started peaking... the seizure lasted a few minutes... theoretically I should have still been tripping hard after regaining consciousness. Thinking back on it, that happened after the seizure on 2C-B as well but I thought I stopped tripping due to whatever drugs they gave me in the ambulance. But I just want to know if anyone has any idea what caused the trip to cease after a seizure? I just can't think of any reason as to why that happened.
How could having a seizure stop a psychedelic drug's effects? Wouldn't it still be in my system regardless?
