Hi there!
My name is Giammarco Di Gregorio, and I’m a PhD student in Neuroscience at Durham University - where I study the mechanisms of serotonergic drugs, including classic psychedelics (Psilocybin, LSD, Ayahuasca, Mescaline, DMT) and non-classic psychedelics (MDMA, Ketamine).
I’m currently running a study to learn more about the therapeutic potential of psychedelics in mental health.
We’re looking to recruit anyone aged 18+, and we’re especially keen to hear from people in their 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, and beyond (voices that are often underrepresented in psychedelic research).
Because it can be harder to reach participants in these age groups, sharing the survey link would make a real difference. Please feel free to pass it on to friends, family, or colleagues outside this group as well - both users and non-users.
This online study has been approved by the Durham University Ethics Committee in the Psychology Department.
Dr Marco Bocchio is the project’s supervisor and can be contacted directly at [email protected]
As part of studying mental health outcomes, we include questions about wellbeing, anxiety, depression, and early-life adversity
Eligibility criteria: aged 18 or older.
Estimated time: ~7-8 min.
Click here to take part: https://durhamuniversity.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_dnEBD7IZA4xed38
The study will run until 30 March 2026, but we may extend this deadline should we not reach our target sample size by then.
I can be contacted at [email protected] or via the Bluelight private messaging system.
We’re committed to sharing the final findings of this study in this thread as soon as the paper is published. Indeed, we have just submitted a paper relative to a study I posted in this group on the 28th July 2025 - and we will share it once approved and published.
Thank you so much for considering taking part!
Cheers,
Giammarco
