Seeking knowledge of 2c-ef

So ive been reading about this one this morning, sounds interesting. I have a few questions pertaining to what the synthesis impurities might be? I read in the DOEF section of pihkal that a likely precursor would be 2c-b, is it possible that there would be 2c-b leftovers in the final product offered commercially and thus making it a schedule 1 mixture? Also I've only seen one experience report on it, can anyone else with experience chime in and compare it to either 2c-b or 2c-i (as these are the two I have tasted)?

Sorry Quasimodo can't help but I am also very interested in hearing more about this substance. Anybody else than f&b gathered any experience with this?
 
there are a couple TR's from a couple years back hanging around somewhere. FnB & a friend IIRC. Beyond that i've seen precious little info aside from the speculation in PiHKAL. Good luck!
 
Yeah I'd be interested in finding out more. Has this been synthesised commercially yet? I know it was being discussed on another forum. Shulgin thinks it may have a similar potential to 2C-B or 2C-I in the DOEF discussion in PIHKAL.

Edited to add: it only seems to get a mention under DOEF, although discussed by Shulgin, I'm not sure he's ever synthesised it (physically anyway).
 
there was a glowing trip report on this one some months ago, perhaps you could dig it up
 
DOEF is reported to not be as visual as the other halo-DOX compounds, and 2C-T-21 is also reportedly less visual and more empathogenic than the other 2C-T-X. so it is possible that 2C-EF may be less visual than 2C-B or 2C-I. But this is all worthless speculation. Make it and taste it, ye who have the ability for custom synthesis!~
 
2C-EF - Information and Discussion

Hey there! So other than the one trip report I found, I haven't been able to gather much information on this very rare compound. I was checking it out on isomerdesign's extended PiHKAL listing and it doesn't even have a CAS number! The CAS listed under 2C-EF is actually the CAS for its alpha-methylated analogue, DOEF. I didn't see even a big and dandy on this compound, so I decided I would post a thread to try and gather up as much information about it as possible.

It's 4-(2-flouroethyl)-2,5-dimethoxyphenethylamine. If anybody knows the CAS go ahead and post it and I'll update the thread. It seems to be active at a level lower than what Shulgin predicted, with that sole trip report stating that it was intense but not unpleasantly so at a level of 10mg, not the 12 to 24mg Shulgin predicted. It is also (without going into forbidden details) apparently highly complex to synthesize.

That's the sum total of what I know about it. I'd love to learn more if anyone has any other info about it. I have never seen it available anywhere, it looks like a real rarity and probably is going to stay that way for at least the near future, but boy would I love to try some! And no, that's not a sourcing request, I simply am very interested by it because it is supposed to blow 2C-B and -E out of the water as far as being a full blown psychedelic according to that one trip report (I think posted by B9).

Anybody else have more info, whether firsthand or not?

I haven't the faintest idea what you're talking about, unless you are confusing it with 2C-E. I will ask you to please not treat me like an idiot, I've been in these forums since 2003 under a different name. You think I don't UTFSE?
 
The search continues.. Thank you for the responses. I'm about to do a 2c-ef search in the trip reports section and see what happens, I've only read that one aforementioned "glowing" trip report and it is this report which prompted my readings.
 
Yeah, except that until Quasimodo posted the last reply was at 14:xx yesterday and the oldest thread on the psychedelics forum at the very bottom of the first page is from 21:25 I believe. So unless you're viewing more threads per page than the default, it wasn't on the front page.

And too late, I saw your post before you edited it. I was polite, not hot-headed. I asked you to please not treat me like an idiot. If asking that request with a please is hot-headed, I'm the queen of England.

I'm not looking for a flame war so I will simply say that I don't think it makes sense to assume everyone else is viewing the same non-default number of threads per page as you are. If I offended you then I apologize sincerely, and suggest we leave it at that and put the nastiness behind ourselves.

As for this thread, mods feel free to merge it with the orher thread or delete it as you see fit.

Merged :) If I find the other 2C-EF thread that's been floating around lately I'll merge that too.
