Hey everyone,

I've been working on a simple drug tracking app as part of my harm reduction efforts, and I wanted to share my experience and get some feedback on where to take it next. Right now, the app is super basic—I'm using it primarily in mobile form to test whether I'd use it consistently. Surprisingly, I find myself using it fairly often, which shows me it's worth improving.

Current Features:

  • Simple UI designed for quick entry of substances and amounts.
  • You can track the time, substance, and dose—nothing fancy yet, just the essentials.
Next Steps:

Now that I’m seeing regular use, I want to focus on improving the data format to make it more useful for me and others. I'm thinking about how to structure the data in a way that could allow for better analysis later on, such as:

  • Graphing substance usage over time.
  • Tracking half-lives and tolerance.
  • Giving more actionable insights like when it’s safe to redose or highlighting problematic patterns.
I’d love some suggestions from you all. How do you think I should format the data to make the app more powerful without losing the simplicity that makes it easy to use?

@Tronica what I touched on earlier

Jeez I'm unable to install this. So for sb who isn't into programming or anything: what do I do on an android phone after unpacking the zip file?
