Seeing Auras on 2CB

I'm sure its been discussed on here before - but what about "the grid"? We've all seen it at one time or another right? I've seen it on almost every drug I've tried. What are the theories behind it?

Know exactly what you are talking about. I've only truly seen it once on a high dose of mushrooms. But I'd say because of the theories I developed about it and the conclusions I made; I am constantly aware of it during all trips (including daily life). My theory is that "the grid" as you would put it (I call it the mega-frame), is actually the basis of all matter and matter is constructed upon this grid as time trips over space creating nouns basically (objects, people, places, moments). I find the movie "The Matrix" to be a real life metaphor for this. While on shrooms it appeared similar to "The Matrix", in that the grid appeared to be all a bunch of mathematical code. The best I could put it; would be Geometry translated as numbers. As if I was seeing things for a brief moment without any time or space. I further developed this theory with the machine elves that Mckenna and others speak of. I believe they may be Time/Space writers. Inter-dimensional spirits who bring dimensions together using positive and negative balance to create what we call reality. The spirit of Psychoactive substances - though not the same as the elves - are in leagues with them. I've more theories up my sleeve, but let's see what others have to say about that.

Great thread by the way. I think us humans need to direct our selves to a more spiritual way, stop dicking around and begin to truly understand the world around us. The tools are obviously here around us - use 'em!

I'll have to move my other post into here...TimeKeeper, wonderful post! :)

I have a bit of experience with 2c-b (maybe 5 trips of varying doses and settings). I haven't seen human auras with it, though I find it does strengthen the perception of energy fields around various objects, both "living" and "dead". I dosed one night on the beach in Florida; the ocean's "spirit" became very strong and pronounced, and the unconscious association between the ocean, death, and the Great Beyond became very apparent - the ocean's "spirit" came alive and told me very directly that one day, too, I would merge with the Great Beyond.
After dosing on a hike through a beautiful old growth forest in the ancient mountains of western North Carolina, the "spirit" of the forest and the numerous ancient stones strewn throughout the forest came alive. It was very different from taking psilocybin mushrooms in the forest - I've found with the mushroom that it very much brings the forest to life, and I feel very strongly connected with it, as if I were another plant of the forest. On the other hand, with the 2c-b, the "energy" of the forest came alive, but I felt more like an extraterrestrial visiting a foreign world than a member of the forest itself.
Twice I dosed in the middle of the night while alone in my apartment. On one occasion, during the peak of the trip (T+2 hours) I tried to write an entry in my journal, but I suddenly felt "possessed" by a spirit that was standing next to me. As I tried to write, my hand moved of its own accord - I was trying to report on my current experience, but all I could manage to write was "my hand is being controlled by something other than me", in a skeet form of handwriting that is unlike my own. During the same trip, I felt a strong contact with the "spirits" of all the elders that came before me - both the elders from very ancient times, as well as the current generation of elders, the brave folks such as Alexander Shulgin who have brought us valuable tools like 2c-b.
So my short answer; no I haven't seen human auras with 2c-b, but I've found it can greatly strengthen one's "spiritual" faculties. A valuable tool indeed...

i have so been looking forward to trying the bee's. Never found any in SoCal though... :(

Also, since there seem to be many experienced 2c-b users, Do you get confused like on Lsd? i was told that it is basically a small body high and visuals, like you wont get the intense mind activity and paranoia as on acid.

it is easy to remain clear headed on 2cb. and so is 2ci which i prefer. 2ci feels like i am having an orgasm in my leg but it just feels amazing for maybe 20 minutes then fades. i cannae get enough

the other day i had 2ci and mushrooms and the comeup was a rough ride(i came up after having four beers but stopped drinking as the rush was fast) but the high was so good. i was seeing stuff floating in the air and colours changing in everything. my mum got older then younger then back again.

at the gathering i did 2cb mixed with 2ce and the b outweighed it and i saw auras that your talking about allll over yes yes yes its soo awesome too!

in the forest in the dark with the moon through the trees a breeze floated through sent me shivers through my knees and i felt like a ballon being blown up with etherial colors and the flowed across the lifeforce of earth and brothers manifesting the me in others i could see the way things were coming together to expose life in all its glory until the morning called an end to the dancing trees story

yeah

The grid? What grid? You mean this grid?

Never seen it.

Not with the grid again. Your freaking me out with this shit;)

I've never personally seen auras, but both my perants have, and they are pretty straight laced as psychothearapists go. They say its something they have experienced when they are in a real state of empathy with a client. Also, my girlfriend said she saw my aura on acid and 2ce the other day. At the time I looking at this strange floating diagram which seemed to me to be something to do with the energy flow in the room (or my mind playing tricks on me).

Hmm I have never seen auras around people, but I regularly see them around simple unconscious matter. Especially stones are sourounded by auras when I am on 2c-b, which once got me in a deep discussion with a stranger because he was smashing stones and throwing them into a lake.
We then had a sophisticated discussion about self-reflexion being a sign of higher consciousness but simply because stones can not reflect and thus know themselves as what they are, does not give us any motivation to harm them.
Well he was a small child to be honest, so I won the discussion :-P

The only two causes of auras I can imagine are:
1. 2c-b effects the visual cortex in some complex manner, leading to the pseudo image of auras. Perhaps by reducing the ability to visually recognise boundaries of objects, and thus transmit some of the visual information of stone A into the close space sorrunding stone A, which creates the image of a field around stone A coloured just as stone A --> aura

2. There actually is a certain form of energy emission occuring from aura-sorounded things/persons and one can only registrate this subtle piece of information if the brain is in an altered state.

In anway pretty interesting subject

2C-B sounds a lot more fulfilling than 2C-E from what I'm hearing. I've always heard the opposite from people however. 2C-E seems so empty and uninspiring to me.

I remember taking ~25-35mg of 2c-i once before a class (I estimate because I don't rightly remember) and I remember my bio professor had an absolute aura to her... I was so certain that it existed, I felt the need to comment... it was... kind of turqoise in color... sometimes blue... once it was yellow... (these were all different days that I began tripping in that class and noticing auras... ) she kind of poked fun at me but acknowledged there are many people that believe in aura's... although they aren't looked upon with a smile by most scientists... they did exist.

In that same class I noticed some other people had auras... (one girl pink, one guy orange, one guy green) but none of them had an aura every day like she did, though... and none of them were as strong.

I'm going to have to do more research on the matter now that I know it isn't just me.. lol
