Seeds left in naphtha for too long?

Hello bluelight!

My friend crushed up some HBWR seeds and put them in some naphtha but forgot to filter it out immediately. Instead he let it sit in the naphtha for over 24 hours, then filtered it. Now the seed powder is sitting, evaporating in a well-ventilated room in his house. Is it still safe to throw the powder into some alcohol to drink, or will some of the naphtha/benzene have been absorbed into the powder that it sat in it for so long?

Please help! Thank you in advance.

Also, what is a safe/responsible way to dispose of used/unwanted naphtha?

Put it in your zippo? (don't, its full of shit/contaminants now)
Evaporate it? Use it in an old stove? Use it for firestarting?

Make sure you dry the powder well, if it worked properly it will have absorbed into the plant material anyway, you need make sure it's evaporated out.

Thanks for the reply. I am evaporating it for three days, I just wanted to make sure that the absorption was not irrevocable.

Cheers!

Please evaporate it in the dark too. Exposure to UV light may destroy some of your LSA alkoloids. As long as you evaporate it for long enough, all the naptha will be gone.

Report back with results/effects etc! Maybe this will reduce the nausea. :D
