Security guard drugged with LSD, GHB at Shambhala Music Festival

Yeah i've never had ghb, but i've heard it's really foul tasting, surely in a bottle of water you would really notice that kind of unusual taste?

GHB has a very strong salty chemical taste, there's no way you couldn't recognize it as soon as it hit your tongue. Also if you looked at the bottle it looks a bit thicker than water.

A few years ago at Shambhala a girl across from our camp (friends camp) unknowingly drank what she thought was water but turned out to be GHB. She must have gone to chug it, the bottle wasn't marked and ended up being rushed to the hospital. Luckily she survived.

I once read that the sodium salt of GHB has a terrible taste but that the free acid is flavorless. Is this true?

edit: and by "free acid" I mean the GHB molecule, not the LSD that this person received for no charge.

I wouldn't be surprised if she did take it intentionally, media would rather report it as being drugged because it makes a better story and i doubt the management would wanna admit if she did, although we'll probably never know for sure

Ok, GHB only I can get, guard falls asleep you do whatever you want.

LSD only is also understandable, it would probably scare the person shittles if he's not experienced with these things. So if someone was looking for revenge...

But why both? Enough GHB to fall asleep and you've wasted the LSD. A little less GHB, anxiety is still gone guard enjoys the trippy visuals. Doesn't make sense at all.

The only scenario that makes sense really and honestly is that she drank it herself, though someone said she was barely breathing when arriving at the med tent but even then that still could have been due to her idiocy. GHB+LSD is an amazing combo and really pretty easy to manage at proper doses. It's just far to stupid to think she actually took a serious swig of that and swallowed it, GHB tastes like weirdly textured salty slippery slop in most drinks. Its just not something someone wouldn't notice even regularly, yet at a fest known for this sort of thing(drugs hidden in bottles, plus tons of drugs in general). She might have just said that to avoid suspicion and trouble.

Really though that's the most logical conclusion. Being mad that someone took your drugs then giving them more of your drugs is nonsensical..... Also you think she might have recognized said person if she indeed took their drugs, as once again if she grabbed it from a random table, she REALLY should have known better when that GHB taste hit her tongue that something was not right.....
