Trigger Warning secular humanism: why do people prefer to believe in the supernatural than not?

God has demonstrated to me He exists.
What can you do to make things better?

Do you recall when you were enlightened to a different way of thinking? It was new and different than the way you thought before? Did you want to let the world know about your newfound consciousness? Of course you did, then you learned this new fangled of thinking was nothing new to other people who gained insight similar as you.

I think most people agree there is no logical explanation for the supernatural, god or Jesus. However, to discredit the supernatural goes against the brain's natural response to substitute an answer, any answer rather than not knowing. the brain does not recognize the absence of knowledge.

If we are to believe the supernatural does not exist, what would become of our history? What would become of our future?
