allowing my time to pass,
im slow, confused, out of gas,
waiting for the opportunity, a chance,
to tell her how long i've wanted to dance.

will she understand,
or will she be scared,
i feel like chicken shit,
like its something that has been dared.

its something i want to do,
something she needs to know,
i just need to show,
how i love her so.

kind of outta nowhere,
like i skipped a beat,
i been waitin here on the street,
for her to return a stare.

its finally arrived,
and im scared to advance,
i feel so deprived,
i've been waiting for this chance.

waiting for the right time,
the perfect time for her to discover,
that i've always been a secret lover,
and for her i write this rrhyme

watching her with other people,
wishing it was me,
eventually,
i knew id be able to jump this steeple.

her secret lover must come out of the shadow,
show myself for what i feel,
i've already broken the seal,
i cannot stop now.

continue til the i win.
continue til shes mine.
i will not give up.
this secret lover, has been a best friend,
now wanting more, promising to be there til the end.
