Second Time, 2 Week wait

Alright so I have already posted a thread on here but it was explaining what happened when me and my friend bought some "molly" pills where only his worked (he had a hwite puma pill while i had a capsule). My pupils were extremely dilated but I felt no sense of euphoria or even change in mental state at all (which my friend did). So this weekend I am planning on taking the same pill that he took with him and will be expecting the effect. I decided to not wait out the recommended 30+ days because of my skepticism of the mdma in the capsule that I took. I will let you guys know what happens and any suggestions on what to expect? (We are popping em at a house party).
Note:
medications I am on only include Ritalin (methylphenidate) which I take daily and otherwise nothing. Does anyone know if this is a possibility of why I did not feel the "mdma" last time if it was indeed mdma?

It's a pretty simple explanation...you didn't take MDMA? Ritalin wouldn't have killed the roll to that extent imo. You gotta be sure to test everything you take, especially powders and especially the pumas. I just came across some more glittered pumas this last weekend that my guy swore up and down were batch 1...until I tested em up right in front of him and got the blaring Orange Marquis.
"This is exactly why I test everything dude," I said. Get the pumas tested bro or you may find yourself twacked outta your gourd on straight meth pills. Test all your powders too because there is NO WAY of telling what the powder is and you could set yourself up for a really horrible experience.
 
Methylphenidate (Ritalin) and MDMA are supposed to be cross tolerant iirc, so if you're taking it everyday it may dumb your roll down a bit. something about blocking the dopamine and norepinephrine transporters. give it a google.

i'd say go for like a 5 day break from the ritalin before you roll again, if you can. feels good to take a break from that shit anyway imo.

but yeah test your shit too.
 
dont take the ritalin for a while like chesh recommended, im almost positive that has en affect on it.
 
Funny as this sounds, I had a friend with extreme ADD and when he took ecstasy it had absolutely 0 effect on him as well. His pupils dilated but he didn't roll (and they were a large quanitity of MDMA) he felt the effects from the cut to the pill (coke or meth, maybe some type of RC) but it quickly diminished and he got no roll what so ever.

I also heard about this happening to another friend, but I wasn't actually there. I was physically with the person in the 1st sentence. Both have extreme ADD so not sure what the different effects are with the brain but just funny you say that. I'm starting to believe people with ADD have chemicals effect them differently.

I have ADD and if i dont smoke, i wont roll, PERIOD.
 
Norepinephrine is a vital chemical to MDMA's magic, and Methylphenidate releases it.. as well as dopamine which is also needed.


So yeah, they are quite cross tolerant, but I would bet that you just got some bunk stuff.... also

That's dumb. If you took piperazines or something similar you should probably be waiting MORE than 30 days, well you should do that anyways. 3 months is what is recommended, 1 month is only excepted because we know that most people aren't going to wait 3 months and it's better than nothing
 
Aha, as always thanks Folley (and others) and yeah I'm prescribed Ritalin for my "A.D.D." so if someone with ADD is affected differently by chemicals that could be the reason.
From tomorrow on, I won't take any Ritalin until my roll this weekend. Also I encountered this http://www.ecstasydata.org/view.php?id=2497 which looks identical to what I took (considering the fineness, color and amount of the powder). And they are from my area as well. The guy I bought from also goes to my school and has been popping these (same batch) and never found anything to go wrong, so I am pretty damn sure it was MDMA.
But yeah I'm to impatient and broke for a test kit at the moment (stupid as fuck I know), but will still be taking awhite puma this weekend.
 
Careful with white pumas. If they have gold specks in them, they contain methamphetamine.
 
^ Yeah Pumas are notorious for being unreliable, you could get an amazing pill or a straight meth bomb. Either way, it's going to contain meth...


And dude... that capsule could be anything. Coke, meth, mephedrone, methylone, MDMA, PMMA, MDPV, heroin, baking soda, salt.... a capsule with white powder could be ANYTHING really
 
I have ADHD and MDMA effects me still, I just end up with mega-ADHD while im on it. Running around, changing my mind about what I want to do, getting distracted by everything. Never taken ritalin near a day im doing mdma though, so i reckon if MDMA isn't working on people with ADD/ADHD it could be the ritalin.

Good times.
 
Alright yeah so today I popped the pill and I started feeling a little about an hour in. From there on it was waves of the effect of the drug and being sober, lasting about 2 hours until I came down. I was off of Ritalin for a few days. This may be the reason why I at least felt it (compared to last time) and why it only lasted about 2 hours and I was never really completely rolling. I will not be taking ritalin for two weeks before my next roll and will be able to notice the difference.
 
Definitely wait more than two weeks next time. And seriously, have you and your friends save up for a test kit. It's the smartest option for ALL of you.

Now that it's summer and school work isn't an issue, stay off the Ritalin for at least two weeks. I'd recommend a little longer. Gives you more time to save up for a test kit too. :P
