The drivers side lock sticks in place so that you cant push it in when the power locks are broken. Its dumb but its fixed now. Its a 97 civic. And yea they have my ID on record as buying a parking permit, but it still costs to get a new one. I guess they don't want one person buying a pass and giving it to their friend and then being like wtf someone jacked my pass give me a new one. Im not sure if the old pass is "on watch" but there are like 20,000+ people that go to this school so its not like they are going to go by checking the number on every pass. If you have a pass displayed you're in the clear.

Im appealing the ticket at the moment.

Studied my ass off last night for a really important test and felt extremely confident taking it today. Its worth like 30% of my grade in my hardest class so it feels really good to nail that down. Upper division poli-sci courses are interesting, but this chapter was all on theory, which is really really dry and it was difficult to sift through all the material to find the important stuff that you actually needed to know.
 
There is a career fair on campus tomorrow and I'm not sure what to wear. Would it be okay if I wore a nice pair of dark jeans seeing as I have class/lab before and after the career fair?

The idea of wearing slacks to class and lab seems impractical and may include me wearing heels.

Also, I know which companies will be there and which I'm interested in so should I do a cover letter for each company, or a different resume (change the objective portion) for each or use the same.

Help.
 
I think you would be fine with the dark jeans considering it is a Uni campus and they know students lead busy lives, and might just be stopping by in between classes. Although full professional attire would definately do some good.

Yes, definately tailor the resumé to fit the position you are going for with that company. You can also go with the cover letter, but like the resumé make sure it fits the position.

my first thought was that it looked like someone whipped your tomatoes. i seriously wonder about the associations my mind makes sometimes.

i was rather pissed that walmart had a HUGE christmas section but no gas grills. its fucking southern california, there is no grilling season. hell, even in ohio i used to grill in the middle of winter.
 
Go to Lowes. They usually have a pretty good selection, year round.


Downtempo on Pandora makes work soooo much nicer. :)
 
i prolly should go to lowes or home depot. i was waiting for my husband's car to get brakes, so i was limited to places i could walk to.

I second the Home Depot/Lowes suggestion as far as grills go.


Edit: thanks to the power of the internet (sometimes I forget I can search for things on here, not just surf Bluelight) its cracking which is caused by the tomato skin being less resilient.

We are trying to have adsl connected at our new house and have *finally* received an email from the ISP - but it advised us that our adsl should be connected by the 28th December 2028.
