I'm suspicious of this also. Only a couple of days ago I noticed the silk road thread became saturated with sources left right and centre, and joked that "You guys are lucky Albion has missed this thread"... and he then responded minutes later out of no-where. Got to be some alert system in place for the mods, or some kind of mod-exclusive, developed, psychic powers.

That's because for some reason bluelight won't let you search for a term that's 3 letters long. You never could 10 years back, and you still can't today. I've never understood why as I'm sure many would want to search for "MDA" or "PCP".

There was a way round this but I've forgotten.

Marmz, wasn't a genuine complaint towards you... I was more or less interested in demonstrating the workings of my Sherlock skills at that point.

You should give it ago; don't know what your missing.

For instance, are you aware someone has written an ode about you in the Words forum? BLOOD... SEX... AND MARMALADE...

No, I was not aware. But I did get a little tremble of excitement for one moment there, until I looked and realised it was about some other floozy.

I don't deal with disappointment well, since I tend to have very few expectations of anything in the first place. A strategy that serves me well.

And now I'm disappointed.

yeah i agree with you about twitter Sandy, its interesting to follow people / celebrities who are interesting, but i dont see any point in nobodies having an account. FG do your own thing mate, i dont understand why a few people are irritated by your posts in the music threads, if they dont like them they dont have to read them. The embedded video thing did get annoying though, before a seperate thread was made for embedded videos, that may have been what much of it was about, as it took fuckin ages for the pages to load up.
 
I can't remember the first one, just the 2nd two, and I don't think you were in those. I suspect all of them were made just to demonstrate how much of a cunt he thinks I am.

The poem however, needs to repair the damage done. If it's not all heart and flowers I'm predicting the mounting burden of disappointment is going to lead me into a pretty dark & depressive phase.
 
Searching for 'Sammy G' brings up previous incarnations as well as this one, obviously. Searching for 'Sam' would obviously yield millions of results, many of them obviously irrelevant. And I really don't want to delve into it if I'm being honest.
 
must be a really slow day the day you search for your own username/words
