search broken?

for example, if i search "This thread": EADD Film Recommendations v6 - Nominated five times

for either the text "alasdair" or by member "alasdairm" i get no results.

both searches should return two results:

3/4 of the way through a Roger Deakin's Double bill - 'Skyfall' and now 'Sicario'. Loving it.

Fwiw, we took the site offline a bit here and there in the week following the start of this thread. We used that time to rebuild ALL caches and hopefully clean some stuff up. I'll be honest, I still am not getting the hits I know are out there. And, it's generally accepted that the base XF search function sucks. We are exploring alternatives we can add-on to try and alleviate this issue. Sorry for the lack of closure and the delay in providing a sympathetic shrug while we keep working on it.
