I’d like to share a trick that I actually forgot about until recently, and even more recently found a potentially relevant research article..
So I was once told Orange Juice could make one come back up from a dropping roll. At this point I had tried the orange juice before psychedelics and MDMA with if anything poorer than average results, especially for MDMA. I assumed it was bullshit.
One night in the afterglow of a good show and roll coming down I decided what could it hurt? I needed some nutrients in me anyways. I’ll be damned if I didn’t start rolling again!!
Now it’s not a great euphoric re-entry, more like the MDA metabolite gets going again, but it does provide a better more energetic feel than what I was before.
I tried this a number of times with similar results, but also noticed increased comedown too cuz I couldn’t sleep and overall felt like certain metabolites got linger around too long.

They talk about this “organic anion transporting polypeptide (OATP)2B1” having an effect on drug metabolism as well. In this article they found no effect from GFJ but some effect from OJ and even stronger from Apple Juice.
“Organic anion transporting polypeptide 2B1 (OATP2B1, gene SLCO2B1) is an uptake transporter that is thought to determine drug disposition and in particular, the oral absorption of medications. At present, the clinical relevance of SLCO2B1 genetic variation on pharmacokinetics is poorly understood.”
If anyone could tell me more about this. I plan on trying apple juice or orange juice again when I get a chance but may consume in the middle of the experience instead of the very end like I have in the past.
