first off, i'd like to say i dont like this new theme bluelight has. i havent visited this site for a while and when i did just last week i noticed the theme had been changed. dont like it at all, i liked the old white one better.

anyway to get to my original question, i need some advice.

what are the potential consequences if someone who has schizophrenia smokes weed, does it take alot to fuck them up or what happens? what if they smoked just a small amount?

usually its more complicated than "a small amount"
because if you don't feel it the first time, and this is common,
you go back for more,
i think you can't take a hit and become pschitzo,
i think you need to make a habit of weed,
make it apart of your personality,
then the consequences appear,
ymmv though,
so this question can't really be answered,
weed is great though,
has gotten me through rough times (high school!) ha..

I don't have anything to offer but subjective experience. Your best bet is probably googleing some (unbiased!) research studies.

I have three schizophrenic friends (how do I find these people...). Two were fine with weed, it didn't have an effect on their schizophrenia. The other it made them anxious as hell, and the anxiety made the schizophrenia worse.

You're thread is shockingly similar to this, though worded more politely... I agree with the last post there:
Strains that have a higher CBD to THC ratio (indicas) are going to be less psychotogenic, but that doesn't mean they're safe. Think very carefully about whether this is worth the risk for you, and if you do then start with very small doses and titrate up. I'm going to close this because it's a pretty self-serving thread. Please be careful.
