Scheduled Drug

There can't be many chemicals left which haven't been scheduled... I reckon H2O will probably be next.

The new synthetic marijuana looks like it is gone, soon to be followed by meph, then salvia? just my guesses

just need to ask rollin4ever is your avatar moving or not? It looks like its getting darker then lighter and also moving around.

Any of the bath salt RCs, mephedrone, MDPV, etc.

Many more of the synth cannabinoids.

Maybe kratom, but that's a long shot.

There's my 0.02. The DEA usually goes after what the media thinks the next big moral panic drug menace that's killing our kids/baby kittens, which would be the whole "bath salt" craze, just like what happened in the UK not too long ago.

I've thought tramadol would have been scheduled for a while now, but it hasn't. The DEA is known for not making any sense in how they schedule things. I feel like if/when they schedule tramadol, it probably won't go to II, but maybe III or even IV. Who knows.

I'm still betting that the stimulant RCs will be the next things to get scheduled.

Agreed on both points

Tramadol, mephedrone/cathinones, kratom and alkaloids, JWH and friends, dextromethorphan, methoxetamine, any of the 2Cs or tryptamines, haloamphetamines, methiopropamine (yerugh), salvia.

Basically anything remotely fun or active.

I have a hard time seeing DXM being scheduled. Maybe put behind the counter like pseudofed. Nothing else to really use for coughs except opiates, and plenty of money from the pharm companies to fight it.

Dextromethorphan will never be a Scheduled Drug. Its the most used antitussive. Next to that there are only opiates. It will never be replaced as the most popular cough suppressant. There would basically be no other OTC antitussive.

Tramadol is too useful to doctors as an unscheduled drug. If someone is having severe enough pain that acetaminophen won't be enough they won't have to prescribe a controlled substance and get into trouble by prescribing too much.

Don't put it beyond the DEA to schedule safe, medically useful drugs. They've done it before and will do it again.

I'd say the 5 JWH compounds they said they were gonna schedule a month ago but haven't yet. Really, it doesn't matter what RC they schedule. The RC manufacturers/vendor come out with stuff faster than the DEA can schedule them. Isn't Shulgin coming out with a new book soon? That should keep the scene going for another 20 years...
