Well, "wont" can be used as a noun synonymous with, "accustomed to" which, when used in a sentence can express desire for a thing.

ie. "They are wont to their ways."

However, the text your friend sent you used the word out of context.

They may change their minds when they get out into the wonderful world of employment. I've thrown out resumes from college grads, who were otherwise very qualified for an open technical position, when they contained blatant grammatical and spelling errors. It may not matter to them if they can't spell, but it matters to the people they are trying to communicate with.

I'm glad to hear that you've thrown out resumes like that. So many people just think it doesn't matter, and I'd hate to see those people get into a position like yours, AfterGlow.

No one is perfect, but that is a minor mistake compared to the glaring errors that are in some people's writings. Some may say, sure, this is a message board--But this is only one example of terrible writings. There are a couple regulars on this message board who's posts I won't really read, just because the grammar/spelling takes away from the point they're trying to make. I've overcome that for a few people, but it's tough to not let the written word get in the way of the meaning. /ramblings. Bed time.

I'm 18, graduated high school, and am now simply enjoying the finer things in life. I'm learning more about myself and the world around me by having actual time on my hands, not the time in between classes. I may go to college next year, I may not. I feel lost sometimes too but fuck it. Im only going to be 18 once might as well enjoy it.
