^heh, actually not a bad first piece, I wouldn't worry about the emo factor as you describe things quite well at the end.

i like it a lot:

at first i thought it was all just emo-garbage...

but later in the piece, they way you describe what you meant by "cutting"

..well it cuts deep, it hits a chord with me.
