CousinCocaine

Hi, I've been reading posts on this forum for a couple of years but just joined over the weekend. I'm excited to finally be a member %) !!! First of all I'd like to explain my username to anyone out there who doesn't get the reference. No I didn't pick the username because I'm a huge fan of cocaine, I've actually only tried it once or twice when I had a little given to me, I'm actually more of an opiate and benzo guy I prefer to be relaxed instead of energetic, but when I do use uppers it's usually d-amphetamine. The name came from the line "sweet cousin Cocaine lay your cool cool hand on my head" in the song "Sister Morphine" by The Rolling Stones.
[COLOR=rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.701961)]The mistakes I've made in the past are actually the main reason I joined. Even though I'm by no means an expert in pharmacology I think I have enough basic knowledge to help provide some valuable harm reduction advice and hopefully keep some people from making the same mistakes I did in the past. I started doing drugs WAY too young which caused me to do some really irresponsible stuff and become addicted to several things on several occasions. Unlike most kids who just drink and smoke weed I started using when I was 14, popping like 3 OxyContins at a time with no tolerance, doing 50mg+ lines of Adderall, mixing alcohol with pills and by the time I was 15 IVing pills. I was lucky enough to get out alive (and disease free, thankfully I at least knew to use clean needles) and learn from my mistakes and now that I have self control I'm moderating my drug use and being more responsible in general I enjoy when I do use anything so much more, and if I feel like it's getting out of control I put a stop to it before it can do any damage.
I'm looking forward to my future as a member and truly hope I can help as many other members as possible and contribute to the causes of harm reduction and responsible use. I also look forward to having conversations and friendly debates about substances with other members, sharing personal experiences and reading other members' and expanding my current knowledge by asking questions and learning from members more knowledgeable than myself.
