You guys should really check out the article from the cover of the July 10 Alive. Really cool informative article about Titonton and ele mental. A nice read about the beginings of some true artists right here in Columbus

Building something out of nothing

Like that of many lesser metropolises, Columbus’ art and music communities have long struggled to exist. With relatively few outlets for even accepted forms of art to flourish—let alone more experimental and avant-garde varieties—the subculture has had to fight just to remain on the fringe, occasionally making inroads to a broader audience but for the most part never gaining the support needed to thrive.

This is the environment in which the collective of multimedia artists known as ele_mental has now existed for 10 years. Though most of Columbus is still unfamiliar with their work, the group hasn’t gone unnoticed elsewhere and its impact will be forever felt, however subliminally.
