i would call it "amazing"... it had everything... good music, a good energy (tho' it seemed everyone was reserved at first --- waiting to see if the cops were rollin' in), people laughin' and havin' fun... the "gangsta Gs" and wiggers were alittle much... but hey... gangsta's liek techno, too, right? ;)

At any rate... what was amazing was that Gary and crew pulled it off without a hitch. lasers, lights... maybe invest in better sound (ie Log2) b-c the sound should resonate in the whole room, not just right in front...

Other than that, it was a great party.... we shouldn't look too much in the past... let's look to the future. This party was a good party to kick off a new era.... Gary has been doign it for the past year or so, doing event after event... contrary to what people think, a scene is not made -- or destroyed -- by one party... it's made/destroyed by a series of events... so let's keep the momentum up (and the drugs to a minimum.)

Ill state it like this... i used to go to parties when i first started(we wont go in to details it reveals too much) soley to sell drugs.... I fell in love with the scene and then i used to get all sorts of fucked up at parties and that was standard, rolling how ever was NEVER part of my rave regiment... Then i started going sober and it is incredible how much more fun you really do have.... its not just BS, i have eaten enough acid to kill the entire earths population of horses... You name a hallucenogen (sp?) i have prally tried it, and that is what my young days were in the scene... Now its all About showin some love to some bomb ass DJ's... i just saw Diesel boy and Micro in C-bus and it was bomb tastic!!! i havent really slept since thursday and now mandi is making me drive back imediately because she just realized what time it is....grrrrr..... any ways no drugs more music

i made it 1/4 of a mile from my house and got in a car wreck... no joke... dropped mandi off made it to 96th and allisonville... indy is flooded right now and so i was hydroplanin and any one who knows me knows i by no means drive fast so luckily i only did a little bumper damage to her but me no i have fender hood and bumper damage... my po lil car :(...... mandi call me if you see this and i havent called you yet...

aww im sorry ryan. my mom got stuck on 96th street too, just right outside my neighborhood. she called me and said "i dont know how to tell you this jen, but water is pouring into my car." turns out that she was stuck in a flood that went all the way up to my waist.

this rain is hellatious today, huh?

Look at it this way at least the rain held off until after the party. That would have sucked had it rained all night. Especially for the people that had to walk from that parking lot across the street!

Water, Water everywhere

This sucks ass!! Woke up this morning to my parents frantically rushing around trying to fix the stream of water coming through the walls of our basement. Right now there's about a foot and a half of water in it and outside is even worse. It's bad...... everything is going to be ruined.

You are ridiculous. The kid should have been arrested to avoid ANY association with drugs and our music. Fools like you who need drugs to have a good time and then bitch about cops busting you need to quit preaching about their "positive" relationship in our scene.
 
word. and you know what.......even if thats why you went, and thats why your there........drugs are still ILLEGAL, so you can't go around parading them. if you are going to do them then atleast do it before hand or dont be obvious about it. thats why cops dont like raves.....they see them as places that teens go to get fucked up. which isnt true, but all i'm saying is, keep shit hidden if your going to a party for that kind of shit. if i can see it, so can security......keep that in mind.

what is up eVeRyBoDy? so who all had some fun this weekend? what did everybody do? man, i ended up goin to this party in indy called elevate. did you hear bout it? it had some 'TECHNO' music -and- weird lights -and- some fog -and- cake -and- lots of kids wearin funny clothes -and- kids dancin all funny -and- peeple smilin -and- lots of peeple with funny names -and- lots of kids up passed their bedtime -and- a HELLA LOT OF PEEPLE HAVIN A GOOD TIME! i dunno what thats all about, but it sure was fun. so...gangsta! haha.

moved to other drugs : crack ...heh right... (jk) i had alot of fun...though i fuckin missed out on elevate. i think this shit wont happen again. no way...anyhow..i had sum fun this weekend fuckin with people...hope everyone remembers to be safe...holla ~damon~

First of all let me intro myself, this is Doug who through the party with Gary. In case nobody knows which one I was, I was the big guy running around with our security guys all night busting kids with drugs.So needless to say I didnt get to "party" that much. To the kid that was bitching about me and my security crew, FUCK YOU. I thought we were very successful on bringing the scene back to were it should be without the drugs. We made it perfectly clear we didnt want drugs in there and I could give 2 shits and a fuck whether or not they were real, dont bring em to my events anymore. Next time you might not be aloud to just walk away from the party. I would rather lose money but know there are no drugs there then gain money and everyone be fucked up against the wall.

Which brings me to my next point. We were not successful on money, but everyone enjoyed themselves and we were successful on the fact it did not get shut down and we are one step closer to making our scene better and where it should be at.

Now for my thank yous. First goes to the rest of DDP(Deranged Diesel Power). This is Gary, Brett, Bryentt,Matt,Joe, Ryan and the rest of the promotion team. Big props to Ed and his security crew, and if you dont like these guys tough shit cause you will be seeing alot of them.
Of course the djs,light,and sound crews other wise what would everyone be coming for. Finally you kids who came for elevate. If it werent for you this definately would not be possible.

Seth and Mack, sorry for the whole time switch, communication is something someone needs to work on.

Rememeber kids, October 31st I cant wait. Lets just say a couple of midwest all time favorites.and does anybody remember Destination. (little something for you all to be wondering about).
