Hey basis hope ya don't mind but i changed a few of your size fonts to make it a bit easier to read. :) Bigger is NOT always better.
 
i think thats a good idea leah. we could get enuff people together and have a whole slew of tents, coolers, pits, etc.

After all the negative attitude I got after my not-so-excited review of Helloween and Pure DNB, I was so mad that I really considered looking elsewhere for parties (and also spent more time trying to help throw events closer to home here in Indy). However, because of the polite and understanding response that I got from basis and the fact that they keep bringing fucking mad talent, I'll be there. Please don't hate me everyone! I'm really a nice guy...

Look for the guy in the goofy hat... (checkered top hat, blinking visor, insanely large blue foam cowboy hat... who knows!)

final update should be this weekend, i'll make it known.

just wanna remind everyone that although the venue itself is outside, the DnB/Jungle stage and house/trance/techno/other stage are both under large circus tents (cap. around 400+) and the chill area is also in a large barn (cap. around 200+).

if it's cold there will be portable heaters, and the parking lot and pathways will be better lit for your safety.

so get your camping gear ready, get your dancin shoes, your beer bongs, other bongs, whatever...

i might be doing a limited number of pre-sale tix for $15 despite my not liking to mess with all the extra crap. but since i love yall, and lots off ppl have been askin...i might. we shall see.
 
Will we be able to travel back and forth to/from our vehicles and campsites and the party? IE: Can I leave the party and get a beer and come back or will I have to drag everything in with me?

Also, even though camping is free, is there a need to reserve a camping space in advance of the party? (I plan to borrow my sisters van and sleep in there myself but you never know)

I'm sure this sounds like a relatively stupid question but hey, ya never know.

all valid questions...

-you can go back fourth from your vehicles. you will pay at the gate b4 you ever get out of your car, after the staff checks your vehicle for fireworks and sneak-ins. fyi, that is all they will be looking for. nuff said. so save your fireworks for the 4th of July, and bring $20 to get in.
if you are sleeping in a van or something like that, fine.
DO NOT SLEEP ON THE GROUND IN THE PARKING AREA!!!!!!!!

-no need to reserve a camping area. camping is primative, so anything you need you must bring. plenty of room though for 2 stages and tons of camping kidz.

-ABSOLUTLY NO RE-ENTRY!!!! bring what you need when you come. if you leave the property you will have to pay full price to come back in. also, due to the rural location of the venue, it will not be conveniant to come and go. although the local sheriffs dept. is very cooperative w/ the show itself, once you are off the property...they may be lurking about. hence my suggestion to camp out, or at least stay till it gets light out.


also a couple of quick updates...

entry is $20 b4 midnight and $25 after midnight, so get there early. the gates will open at 5pm to give campers ample time and daylight to set up camp and relax a bit b4 the show.

Hippie Mafia will have bottled water, pop, cheeseburgers, and grilled cheese available. (water, pop, grilled cheese = $1 burgers = $2)
dry goods vendors are welcome, anyone else caught vending food will be ejected from the event w/o discussion.

i got a few more, they will all be on the flyer which i will post this week and will be out in circulation by the weekend presumably.
 
looks like a tight time, much love to Catnap representin' us Columbus folk. If you guys need any more help putting the word out I'd do whatever to help. Gotta love good camping. Gotta love good music.

here are some more tips and info...

-outdoor events are outdoors!!! be prepared for chilly or warm weather. although it's spring and all the stages will be covered, to go from one stage to another or back and fourth from your tents will be outside. it could rain, it could be hot. bring hoodies, sweaters etc.

-coolers are welcome. make sure you have provisions in case of some emergency, or if you are hungry.

-bring bug spray. the venue is out in the middle of the country so there are mosqutos and other such pests.

-you are welcome to come early and set up camp b4 the official gate time, but make sure to get a bracelet from me or my staff so you don't get charged twice if security finds you w/o a bracelet. but as i said, you are more than welcome to come set up camp in the afternoon and hang out. just please stay out of the way of the trucks and staff as we set up the show.

-also, please DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE, although my lease is only till noon the next day, the facility and the local sheriff prefers that we all stay safe over leaving early. if you need to sleep...then sleep. no one will get in trouble for being responsible.

-there will be CPR certified and other responsible folk like that on site for your safety and well being. please respect their position and help out if needed. although Basis Productions is proud to give you kidz a fun event, we must all remember to party responsibly and safely. look out for your brothers and sisters, make sure your peeps are OK.


i will update this thread in the coming weeks w/ more official info...
