SAT prep books?

I need to purchase a SAT prep book for someone and I was hoping some of you who are a few years younger than me can recommend one that you liked Is there one that worked better for you than another?

i don't know about their SAT, but if it is anything like their MCAT prep it will suck.

when i was studying for the LSAT, i purchased a kaplin book that came with a CD. i found the CD really useful because you could specify which areas you wanted the questions to focus on.

your local library should have tons of prep books on hand, why don't you take your friend there and they can look at/check out the books and see which suits them.
