My home is in my Head
I got a few pachanois' growing that i got this time last year.

i planted them in 50:50 Organic compost soil:vermiculite.

i was just thinkin since its the new season that i may want to thrown in a small-moderate amount of Fertalizer for the Cacti

There is info on growin cacti on the internet but specific information to San Pedro growing, fertalizing, cutting/cloning etc from what i can tell is somewhat limited to the shroomery and sacred cactus

anyone here have any knowledge or care to inulge me in a little information in regards to fertalizers for San Pedros.

Things i have on hand: N-P-K
Alaskan Fish Fertalizer: 5-1-1
Bone Meal: 6-9-0
Blood Meal:12-0-0
Milorganite:5-2-0

but if yall got any recomendations i can get whatever. browsing over that list appears i need to get some stuff with more potassium

Mods: please dont move this to the Mega thread for awhile please.

P.S.: if its of any relevance, i did a cutting on one of the 'mother' cacti and if succesful i will be cutting the other two arms and rooting them. i wont be fertalizing the newly cut ones but my intentions are to fertalize the two mother cacti. i dunno if it would matter, i just figured i'd throw it out there to the growing experts just so they know kinda what going on. maybe its ok to fertalize but not while shocking/cutting it? who knows.

^^ yes i know, but even those only feed for so long

so one will eventually have to fertalize

so then back to the original question

I use alaskan fish emulsion as well. in hot weather i water about once every two weeks and feed with every watering. be sure to dilute the fish emulsion to 1/4 of the recommended strength. if you want you can use one plant as a test and try 1/2, strength, etc. but i wouldn't recommend doing this to all of them.

how big are the arms you're cutting from the mother plants?

also never water/feed a cut-cactus you've just placed in soil. they cannot absorb water/nutrients without roots and will cause rot. root 'buds' are not roots, do not water until the cactus has started producing very fine root hairs.

^^ yea i dont wanna fert my clones i was just thinkin that the two mother cacti have been in my possession for a year now and its prob high time they get some fertalizer (were potted in very good organic compost soil 50:50 soil: vermiculite

the two mothers are about 2.5-3feet tall, the arms are 5-6-10-11 inches (depending on how u measure, bottoms are diagonal of course)

there bottle of fish fertalizer i have doesnt have a recomendation for cactus at all, just about every other plant though. do you have a set amount? like 1-2tbsp per gallon or such?

also i water mine once a week in the summer, the soil mixture i have dries out quit as shit, a solid/thurough soaking only keeps the soil moist for 1-2 days tops.

and yea i did the first cutting (wanted to do one first incase i fuck something up) and i originally cut it and put it into dry soil and then i read/realised im suppose to let it develope a scab or whatever first n then put it into some dry soil and then water sparingly and slowly work up to a moderate amount of watering? (slowly as in multiple months)

thanks for replying to my thread i really appreciate the help
