San Pedro Alkaloids

Anyone with knowledge of how structure effects activity care to comment on the possible activity of these San Pedro alkaloids:

4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenethylamine
3-hydroxy-4,5-dimethoxyphenethylamine
4-hydroxy-3,5-dimethoxyphenethylamine

3 and 4 hydroxylated PEA's always sound terrible, imho.

^ Yea, it'd probably be bad to add MAOI's into the mix.

I've heard that the trip from san pedro is more "tranquil" than just plain mescaline or from other mescaline containing cacti.

^Is that wink meant to insinuate sarcasm or are you being serious? What destroys your dopamine receptors? I am aware of free radical related neurotoxicity, but I also understand that it is more limited with compounds such as mescaline and other PEA's as opposed to say, even plain amphetamine.

What would make the San Pedro more mellow? What other cacti wouldn't be so mellow?

I heard that the combination of alkaloids combines to be more potent by weight than pure mescaline, is this true?

Not unless they themselves are more potent, but then, obviously yes.
