About Samsara
Samsara is an annual bush doof hosted by a collective of friends who share a love of the unique Australian bush party lifestyle... a group of friends who, after many years of doofing, wanted to host their own party that is purely about the love of the doof, the love of the bush, the love of the music, and the love of friends: both old and new.
Founded in 2011, Samsara has grown quickly in size, reputation and vibrancy. Each year, more volunteers have been inspired to get involved, and each year the event has seen a bigger lineup, more colourful decor, lasers and visuals. And, of course, a more cranking dance-floor! It has quickly become a well-loved weekend by the many who recognise the strong spirit of the small doof community within it.
Our commitment to keeping this event running as a free and accessible party for all depends on the large amount of time and energy donated by the crew of volunteers who organise it. Samsara is financed entirely by donations, fundraising and the proceeds generated by our indoor launch party.
We truly hope you love Samsara just as much as we do.
Samsara doof annual launch party!
It is time to come together once again to reconnect with old friends, familar faces, awesome music and well, to put it simply, party the hell on down!
Two floors of trademark Samsara madness from 10pm until 5am will have you grinning, energised and chasing away any traces of winter blues as we look forward to a beautiful spring doof season.
A night of swirling colourful performers and decor, energising and entrancing music, stomping feet and smiling faces as we bring a little of the magic of the bush doof home to the city.
All proceeds from the event go to help run our annual FREE doof! With Samsara doof itself only a few months away in early October we have already locked in some of the most amazing acts (more about that later, but we can hardly contain our excitement!)
